About The Role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller to join our team, on one of our largest and most exciting projects in renewable energy – Eastern Green Link 1. The UK is overhauling its electricity grid in the most significant transformation in generations, aiming to establish a cleaner, greener, and more secure energy system for the future. You will provide comprehensive support overseeing and ensure co-ordination in relation to secondary consents such as local highways department, Environmental agency, SEPA and Natural Scotland and any other licensing authorities. Responsibilities Managing project documentation in line with both Prysmian procedures and the client’s requirements. Issue document numbers from the Master Document Register (MDR). Ensure MDR is kept up to date with changes to document names and revision status. Control the creation, review, and distribution internally of documents through the document lifecycle. Format documents, proofread for grammatical errors and ensure documents conform to company standards. Ensure documents are transmitted in a controlled manner to clients and 3rd parties. Track document status and timescales for documents issued to clients for review. Assist collating all information for the final file. Create/update templates. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in a similar position, preferably within energy / renewables. Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel.) Analytical and problem solver. Excellent organization and time management skills. Willingness and ability to travel. Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Proactive, results-driven, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact.
