Kerr Accountancy is a highly ambitious accountancy practice based in Rutherglen looking for a Part Time Qualified Senior Accountant with practice experience to join our winning team. We are a general practice with clients from all industries. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations. (limited company/sole trader/partnership) Personal and business tax returns Capital Gains Tax returns VAT Returns Client queries Dealing with HMRC Keeping job stages up to date on practice management software Maintaining a portfolio of clients and monitoring deadlines Assisting junior staff Qualifications:. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, AAT) is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting practice. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, TaxCalc). Proficiency in Microsoft Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
