PURPOSE
To support the pre-construction team in delivering well-coordinated, profitable, and risk-managed project solutions from tender stage to contract award. This role ensures that Algeco’s pre-construction processes run smoothly, contributing to our mission of providing modular building solutions across sectors such as Education, Healthcare, and Justice.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Pre-construction Support: Assist pre-construction managers throughout the tender and PCSA phases by maintaining accurate records, managing document flow, and ensuring effective team communication.
* Client and Team Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and project teams during project development, facilitating smooth communication and supporting a first-class customer experience.
* Bid Development: Contribute to the creation of bid response templates, presentation materials, and other marketing assets that enhance project bids. Assist with client proposals in collaboration with the bid team as needed.
* Programme Coordination: Support the planning and design integration by liaising with internal departments (Delivery, Estimating, and Design) and external consultants to develop robust project programmes.
* Risk and Value Management: Support the pre-construction manager in applying value and risk management across projects. Maintain project risk registers and provide documentation for senior management review.
* Documentation and Process Management: Manage project records within Common Data Environments (e.g., Viewpoint), attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure all relevant documents are stored appropriately. Occasionally chair internal progress meetings and produce internal/external presentations as required.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* Experience: Initial pre-construction management experience, ideally within modular or volumetric construction. Strong familiarity with managing bid/pre-construction activities for large, multi-million-pound projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, planning software (MSP/ASTA), and Common Data Environments (Viewpoint). Knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, and JCT contracts.
* Qualifications: Desirable qualifications include a Degree/HNC in a building-related subject and a CSCS card. CDM qualifications beneficial (training provided).
* Personal Attributes: A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and a resilient, proactive approach. Able to work independently and collaboratively, with the confidence to challenge standard practices and drive continuous improvement.
* Flexibility: Primarily office-based with the option for agile working. Occasional travel to client sites, manufacturing locations, and meetings as required by the Work Winning team.
