One of the UK's largest and most successful facilities management (FM) providers is now looking to recruit 2 Project Engineers to join their client's corporate banking campus facility outside of Edinburgh.
This is a large, multi-site facility, classified as a critical environment, used by senior client stakeholders.
As the FM provider has recently secured a contract extension, there is a new scope of works for project engineering delivery.
The projects will be M&E and can include fan coil replacements, chiller replacements, BMS upgrades, etc.
These are exciting brand new roles and best suit a confident engineer, familiar with critical sites, looking to take a next step towards more of a leadership/on-the-tools role.
While the position will require some on-the-tools work, there will be an emphasis on supervising subcontractors and completing paperwork.
Responsibilities:
* To perform project delivery assistance duties to ensure smooth delivery.
* Liaise with operations to ensure BAU and project activity trackers are combined to avoid any clashes of activities.
* Ensure the Safe Systems of Work is fully implemented.
* Ability to review method statements and risk assessments via the P2W system.
* Project delivery & implementation.
* Handover & warranty management.
* To ensure that all works undertaken are completed to employer, Client and good practice trade standards.
* Support the Technical Project Manager in the implementation and delivery of projects & technical support services across the Client account to ensure high standard of service.
* Liaise with Client on change control, planning, opportunities, risks, and documents.
* Establish consistent practices and standards adhering to the engineering & project governance arrangements, including project planning, reporting, change control, analyzing risks, and maintaining and updating the risk register.
* Provide Project Management Support to workstreams and address in-service related issues.
* Maintain the Project delivery roadmap.
* Overall planning of the project delivery with inputs provided from all workstreams.
We need from you:
* Ideally, an electrical (can consider Mech) background with good, clear experience in critical facility maintenance.
* Single site outside of Edinburgh.
* Further payments of £2k once LV and HV AP.

Pay: £40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
