Around each village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafés, and bars, as well as a production kitchen. There’s also a further five concessionary units including well-known brands such as Bella Italia and Café Rouge. KITCHEN ASSISTANT - STAFF DINER | £11.60 per hour As a member of the team, you will be required to look after your Center Parcs colleagues in our Staff Village Diner. You will work hard to ensure their requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional guest service in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner. Within this role your main duties will include preparing the restaurant to set standards, taking orders, serving meals and drinks, clearing tables and tidying up at the end of the shift, as well as some basic food preparation. You will be cash handling for which full training is given. You will also ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen area are maintained to a high standard and ensure that all company and legal requirements are met at all times. As the face of Center Parcs, you will make a great lasting impression and ensure that guests return to us over and over again. HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. These shifts will fall between 8am and 6pm and will include working 3 out of 4 weekends. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
