Main duties of the job To work as a team in your allocated age room. To plan age appropriate activities for children aged 5 months to 5 years using the EYFS guidance. To be a key worker to a group of children. To keep up to date development records on your key group. To have a sound knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding. To provide and develop a flexible service of the highest quality of care and education. To promote positive parent partnership with all parents and carers. To implement all operational policies and procedures within the Day Nursery. To plan for children's individual needs, and document where appropriate. To work within a team on a daily basis, supporting each other with daily tasks. To respond immediately to any safeguarding concerns and report these concerns in accordance with the nursery policy and procedure. To be aware of all children's Health and Safety in the nursery and share relevant information with the management team.
