Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being in a serene and professional environment.
You will be working in a vibrant, busy ad friendly clinic with 15 other health professionals including 6 osteopaths and 2 orther massage therapsts. Many of our clients belong to out "Wellness Club" and have monthly massages and so we have a solid base of clients regualraly. You need to be commited to the times you can work with us and we will commited to filling you as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and health conditions.
* Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client preferences and requirements.
* Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
* Ensure a clean and hygienic work environment by following all health and safety protocols.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques.
* Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred, with relevant certifications in various massage modalities.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field of massage therapy.
