The Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre (MACFC) is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for the treatment of adult patients with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). It is situated at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester Foundation Trust in South Manchester.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow with respiratory knowledge, highly developed management and leadership skills and with an interest in CF to work at this centre. The post is for 6 to 12 months, or for a longer periodfor candidates who may be interested in pursuing a MD or PhD

.The post would suit a trainee with experience of respiratory medicine or a desire to pursue a career in respiratory medicine. Clinical roles will include outpatient clinics, MDT meetings, telephone consults, and audit/quality improvement projects. There is no on call. The appointee will be supported, mentored and supervised by the CF consultant staff with close training in cystic fibrosis and respiratory medicine. The post provides an opportunity to work within a large dynamic multidisciplinary team.
