Role: Water Treatment Engineer - London/South East

Hours: Full-time, 07:30 am - 16:30 pm
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Travel: Company van provided for business use
Swanstaff are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic technical engineer to join a growing team responsible for field installations and servicing of temporary water treatment systems across the UK. The water treatment range includes, but is not limited to: clarifiers, chemical dosing control panels, mix tanks for coagulation, flocculation and pH control, oil removal, and sludge handling.
As a multi-disciplinary company, this team also occasionally supports other teams in the installation of temporary heating, ventilation, and environmental monitoring equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out on-site technical engineering installations across the UK.
2. Commission and optimise water treatment processes on-site.
3. Liaise with and instruct site agents on the use of equipment.
4. Lead a small team of engineers during larger site installations.
5. Carry out equipment breakdowns when required.
6. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness.
7. Assist with electrical and mechanical inspection of equipment prior to hire.
8. Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Previous water treatment industry experience is essential.
2. 3+ years of engineering experience in an electrical, mechanical, or technical role.
3. Electrical qualifications are desirable.
4. Health & Safety certification to Level 3 is desirable.
5. CSCS Card (or equivalent) required for work.
6. Clean driving licence is essential.
7. Good IT skills (MS 365).
