In the last year we have supported almost 600 people to tackle their debts and maximise their income, securing over £1.2 Millon in extra income for our tenants. As the cost of living continues to rise, we expect more people than ever to need our help. As a Money Advisor, you will embody these values in every aspect of your role, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service, fostering a collaborative team environment, maintaining high professional standards, and prioritising the needs of our people. You will be a self-motivated individual who has a positive, enthusiastic attitude to work, with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve success. You will be comfortable in delivering tailored budgeting, debt, and welfare benefits advice to help clients become debt free or maximise their income, this is a very rewarding role where you will need to think on your feet and adapt to diverse situations. We are looking for somebody with a wealth of welfare rights experience, managing a case from the initial benefit check, through to benefit appeals, and provide regulated debt advice, tailored to each client, If you do not have this experience, a training and development plan may be available for the right applicant. Some cases are emotionally challenging, so resilience is key. You will need to show empathy and patience to all clients. Being extremely detail orientated, you will be able to stay mindful to legislation and be able to make accurate notes following contacts from clients and creditors. Our team has successfully adapted to hybrid working, so experience of delivering support and services remotely is highly desirable, including the ability to empower and support customers to access digital services where appropriate.
