As aTeaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliantpupils we care for, helping to make sure they get the very bestfrom their education. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism andmay have additional needs. They have so much potential, and theywill rely on you to guide their learning journeys bespoke tothem.
You will help prepare learning materialsand run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experienceand some supervision too. You will take responsibility for theiremotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop asindividuals and engage with the world.
You willface challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive,sharing your skills and learning from others as your career takesyou as high as you always dreamed you couldgo.
Every day will be different, but you willhave all the support you need, with lots of skills and experienceto draw on along with valuable advice and guidancetoo.

Upton Grange School is ourEarly Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 setting for pupils aged 3- 11 years old setting. Upton Grange deploys a wide range ofteaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners,who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles. Ourpupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards an EqualsSemi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations whereappropriate.
This opportunity is located inSlough, a 15-minute walk from rail station and within commutabledistance of Maidenhead, Twickenham and surroundingareas.
