Clinical Applications Support Specialist
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 p/a dependent on experience
Plus access to annual bonus

This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest private healthcare telemedicine company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who are seeking a dedicated Clinical IT Systems Specialist to join our IT Clinical Applications Team.
In this role, you will ensure the performance, configuration, and data quality of our clinical applications, including Sectra PACS, NextGen Mirth, and Pukka J Nexus software. Your work will involve optimising clinical systems to support workflow efficiency, improve patient data quality, and meet clinical and operational needs. Working closely with operations, clinicians, and IT teams, you’ll play a key role in system maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy, configure and maintain clinical IT systems to maximise efficiency, including PACS, DICOM, and HL7-based systems
* Support patient data management and system integration for streamlined clinical workflows
* Manage procedure code tables, optimise PACS worklists, and collaborate with IT and vendor teams for system upgrades
* Provide third-line support, troubleshooting, and training on clinical IT systems
* Ensure documentation, change management, and compliance with industry standards

Requirements:
* ITIL Foundation Certification and a background in Computer Science, IT, or Healthcare.
* Strong understanding of DICOM and HL7 standards and experience in clinical imaging systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical issues and concerns to a range of staff, from the non-technical (management) to the technical (IT and client PACS leads)
* Ability to work in an often pressurised and challenging, yet rewarding environment
