Assisting our people to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities. Offer stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity. Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Booking and attending health care appointments with our people. Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team. Maintaining records by keeping care plans and risk assessments up to date. What you will possess Previous experience of working with mental health and challenging behaviours, specifically self harm. Knowledge/good understanding of Jamaican culture The passion to support people in their day to day lives, promoting their independence. Patience, care and understanding. Ability to set clear boundaries. Outgoing, engaging and enthusiastic.
