Location: Candidate will need to reside in or around one of the following locations: SN - Swindon, RG - Reading, GU - Guildford, SP - Salisbury.
Job Description
Responsible for managing the delivery of agreed sales targets within a specified region(s) via the sales, marketing and distribution of the panel of Product Providers which Blink Intermediary Solutions offer UK brokers access to contributing to the overall Divisional targets.
This is a field sales role, whereby the individual will be visiting and selling to UK general insurance brokers on a face to face basis across a prescribed region.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Manage revenue growth and deliver sales targets within an assigned region(s)
2. Maximise product sales within an assigned region(s)
3. Identify and deliver areas for growth within an assigned region(s)
4. Plan and execute sales, marketing and distribution activities within an assigned region(s)
5. Deliver the agreed distribution requirements with an assigned region(s)
6. Maintain contact to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
7. Maintain a solid understanding of the entire product range
8. Undertake broker visits 3 days per week
9. Maintain and develop client relationships: Brokers and Product Providers
10. Update the core system with appropriate data relating to clients and business activities
11. Complete all development tasks on time and to a high standard
12. Attend events as and when required promoting the business
13. Keep abreast of competitor activity
14. Champion the brand visions and values and represent the company in a professional manner
15. Control individual and assigned region(s) expenses to meet budget guidelines
16. Deliver agreed ad-hoc projects and reports within a specified time
17. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will need to have:
1. Full driving licence with one year’s driving experience
2. Geographical knowledge of the assigned region(s)
3. Ability to deliver growth and achieve sales targets
4. Ability to effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions
5. Demonstrate confident and effective sales skills: face to face, virtually and on the phone
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills both written and oral
Experience of business development within the insurance sector is required.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience. Sales incentive bonus and car allowance on offer, plus a great range of company benefits.
