Tesco Property Maintenance is looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Maintenance Team!
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:
* Confidently interact with external contractors: coordinating repairs seamlessly.
* Work collaboratively with the team: be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
* Sustain high energy levels: juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
* Assist the management team: keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimize customer disruption: coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
* Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
* General day to day store and property maintenance.
* Using mobile devices to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
* Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
* Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
* Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
You will need:
As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
Operational Skills:
* Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or improver programme or trade proficiency test/relevant trade experience
* Basic diagnostics: PCB/Microprocessor/HMI controlled systems/equipment
* Electrical Safety Circuit: Basic working knowledge, fault finding and replacement.
* EICR remedial knowledge
* Full driving license
* Health & Safety awareness
* Communication & stakeholder management
* Office 365 knowledge
Required Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Level 3 – Electrical (or equivalent)
* Apprenticeship/improver programme
* EICR remedial works experience
Preferable Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Inspection & Testing
* ECoPs
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* MEWP/IPAF Licence
