We are now looking for an Internal Salesperson to join our team in Southampton, United Kingdom! Experience is not necessary, we are happy to support and train people, but they must be willing to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in sales and progress, or it could be a great position for a university graduate just starting out and wanting to make a career in sales or someone who just fancies a change.
This role will be responsible for the delivery of the company's sales strategy and programs within Vertiv Infrastructure Limited, for our Thermal Management & Generator Switchgear Service Non-Contract Sales Business.
What will you be doing in our team?
* Secure new customer time & material works in Thermal Management (Cooling) & Generator Switchgear Services.
* Review daily engineer reports, create WIP files, SQDs, and quotations.
* Manage and promote Vertiv offerings to assigned accounts.
* Increase existing customer awareness of Vertiv’s capabilities.
* Support current and potential customers.
* Assist the sales team and Area Sales Managers as needed.
* Complete quotation requests promptly.
* Foster cooperation within Vertiv’s sales divisions.
* Report and forecast orders weekly and monthly.
* Manage sold works within budget and deadlines.
* Adhere to UK service operational procedures.
* Comply with the company's ITC policy.
* Attend professional meetings to build relationships and secure new business.
* Develop new Vertiv business opportunities and analyze market for new applications.
* Log opportunities in Oracle Sales Cloud and update leads weekly.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers.
* Follow up on outstanding quotations proactively.
What are we looking for?
* This is an office-based role, for a candidate close to our office in Eastleigh, near Southampton.
* Willing to learn about our Vertiv offerings.
* A basic understanding of the business-critical applications.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer Literate, Oracle experience would be a benefit.
* Experience in the role is not necessary but you mut be willing to learn and attend training courses.
* Valid Driving License or local to the office.
* Must be a Team player.
* Motivated, Organized, and able to prioritize your daily work activities
