Duties and Responsibilities:
* Act as a key technical contact between Customer Technical and Departments, managing information relating to food safety, quality and legality together with customer brand standards, technical business plans and associated projects.
* Manage all relevant raw material, product specifications and Quality Attribute Sheets for related products.
* Work as part of a customer-facing team with commercial and NPD contacts with a view to customer account development.
* Liaise between all relevant departments within the business to ensure that customer requirements are communicated and adhered to.
* Manage and communicate relevant technical KPIs and the relevant customers.
* Manage and communicate relevant technical business plans and projects.
* Utilise and control data on relevant customer information management systems, including shelf-life, raw material specs, relevant risk assessments and other due diligence information.
* Conduct product checks and inspections and report accordingly to ensure any product produced adheres to customer specifications.
* Deal with any non-conformances and work with management to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
* Review artwork in advance of product launches to ensure labels are complete, accurate, legal, and meet customer, technical, and operational requirements.
* Liaise with NPD to assist with product presentations to customers, product development approval, production handovers, and product launches.
* Maintain and update relevant retail price lists and communicate such to the business.
Essential Criteria:
* 2 years of experience working in a related customer-facing technical role in the food industry/food manufacturing.
* A minimum of a HND in food science, food technology or a related discipline.
* Full clean driving licence.
