WHATS THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
We are looking for a Legal Counsel - Brand & Supply Chain to be a strategic business partner within our brand teams and global service functions. Youll be at the heart of the action, guiding our teams on everything from Intellectual Property and game-changing marketing campaigns to high-profile sponsorships and global supply chain strategies. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
As our Legal Counsel for Brands & Supply chain you will:
* Legal Partner to Global Brands - Provide strategic legal counsel on marketing initiatives, sponsorships, collaborations, and digital campaigns.
* Comprehensive Legal Support - Advise on matters ranging from product innovation, influencer agreements, and sports marketing to logistics and supply chain operations.
* Contract Negotiation and Drafting - Draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including IP licenses, collaboration contracts, sponsorship and influencer agreements, and supply chain contracts.
* Brand Protection & Compliance - Lead Pentlands global brand protection and anti-counterfeiting initiatives, particularly around high-profile sporting events.
* Regulatory and Corporate Responsibility Guidance - Provide expertise on Intellectual Property, advertising law, digital marketing regulations, and corporate responsibility, including environmental compliance.
* Strategic Legal Initiatives - Collaborate with senior leadership to drive key legal projects and process improvements.
* Training & Development - Design and deliver legal training programs to enhance awareness of key legal and compliance matters across the business.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
* 3+ years PQE with strong in-house experience (either direct or via secondment).
* Demonstrable experience in:
o Drafting and negotiating a wide range of general commercial, IP and e-commerce related contracts.
o General IP e.g. IP portfolio management, branding, name clearance, litigation, due diligence and brand protection.
o Consumer law including digital advertising, influencer, marketing, e-commerce and promotions.
* Experience working in complex, multinational organizations.
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent business judgment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Confidence in delivering legal training sessions in an engaging and dynamic way.
