Main duties of the job Support service users and staff to understand the complexities of distress and how we support people through difficult times and indeed their families. Undertake risks assessments and evaluation of their impacts in the management and containment of patients with mental disorders. To ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, compassionate and cost-effective nursing care that is compliant with established clinical pathways Maintain liaison with careers, relatives of service users, participate actively in clinical update, reviews for assessment and evaluation of care. Participate in medication management and administration, mentoring of pre-qualified nursing students and supervision of junior staff and support students in practice as a supervisor. Maintain a high standard of clinical practice and patient care using evidence-based interventions and leadership skills. Collaborative working with other professionals and members of multidisciplinary team. Liaison with external agencies, Police, Court, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT/AMHT), social services. Applicants must be Registered Mental Health Nurses able to work in a challenging, dynamic and recovery focused environment.
