Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Manager to join our team, supporting our customer B&Q. Being based out of Worksop or Blyth (S81 8PU) locations, you will coordinate the customer's requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, procedural conformance, and ensuring contractual obligations are met along with reporting all relevant KPI and finance information.
This is a full-time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday. We do ask for some kind of flexibility, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £52,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Ensuring all network deliveries and collections via the logistics transport division meet the required contractual performance.
2. Assist in budget preparation with all management team and take full responsibility and accountability for accurate payroll submissions.
3. Manage customer perception through meeting service levels, ensuring service failures are communicated effectively and that recurring issues are resolved.
4. Monitor transport operation activities ensuring that contractual obligation for the customer is achieved while generating solutions for improvement where necessary.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
1. Holder of an International CPC is essential for the position.
2. Operational understanding of team roles within a transport operation.
3. Having experience supervising or managing a team in a complex transport manufacturing environment is advantageous.
