We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands. Since joining Invictus Education Trust, Rufford Primary School has been on a journey of school improvement. We are now looking to recruit a teacher with high aspirations and standards for all stakeholders to continue with the progress made.

We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at Rufford Primary School. This is a full-time position, initially in our Pathway Learning Centre, with the flexibility and willingness to work across the school.
We are working with the local authority to develop our Pathway Learning Centre. The Pathway Learning Centre is part of the Local Authority’s SEND Sufficiency and Alternative Provision Strategy 2025 – 2031. Pathway Learning Centres provide an appropriate education along with targeted holistic support which meets the needs of children at risk of high suspensions or exclusion, regardless of ability, needs, background and location. At Rufford, we are dedicated to ensuring all our children feel a sense of belonging at school. We prioritise inclusion in all aspects of school life and we are determined to support vulnerable children and help them to succeed in their education. The Pathway Learning Centre will serve children from across Dudley who will come on placements of around 12 weeks. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all children
* Promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in your students
* Scaffold teaching approaches to support the diverse needs of all children, including those with SEND
* Effectively use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
* Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with a focus on SEND or inclusion

* Passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a difference
* Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning and delivery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
