Job Title: Year 5 Teacher Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120.00 - £180 per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students Assess and monitor student progress Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Collaborate with other teachers and staff members Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in a primary school setting Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Year 5 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school Knowledge and Skills: Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective classroom management skills Proficient in using educational technology Strong organisational and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working with Year 5 students Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) Working Conditions: The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and term dates.
