What you will be doing.
As our HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Head of HR Systems & Processes. You will execute HR tasks with diligence, accuracy, and discretion to ensure effective, efficient operations support. You will need to be able to work autonomously on briefed tasks and as part of a team as required. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
* Assist with troubleshooting HR system issues and escalating to Senior HRIS Specialist where necessary.
* Support HR teams with process documentation and system-related inquiries.
* Support system integrations and troubleshooting in collaboration with IT.
* Assist with system upgrades and support with testing to ensure seamless implementation.
* Provide training and support to HR teams and employees on system functionalities.
* Be an advanced user of the HRIS system and generate routine HR reports and dashboards for management review.
* Assist in policy and process documentation, ensuring alignment with best practices.
* Work with HR teams and various stakeholders across our different locations to manage and improve HR workflows globally with best practices on both local and global levels.
* Partner with key functions in the business to ensure policies and procedures are followed to drive consistency in the delivery across the group.
* Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality protocols.
* Provide support in audits and compliance reporting.
* Coordinate HR induction of new staff.
* Support with internal audits of HRIS, processes, and policies.
* And other duties as assigned.
* Always comply with the company QHSE policies, manuals, procedures, work systems, and regulations at ABL premises, projects, and client sites.
The role is based in London, and the incumbent needs to have the right to work and reside in the UK. Flexibility in working hours from time to time due to working across multiple time zones.
What we are looking for.
We are looking for an ideal candidate who demonstrates interpersonal and administrative skills with a strong attitude to work and adapts to a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and proactive in managing a varied workload. You will also have access to a range of fully supported development programs which will help you learn and develop new skills and take on greater responsibilities. In addition, you:
* Hold a University Degree in HR or equivalent.
* Have previous experience as an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator.
* Have at least 2 years of solid administrative work experience in a private sector organisation.
* Possess knowledge and experience about HRIS.
* Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package: Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
* Exhibit excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Have the ability to network and speak with all levels of staff, including senior management.
* Be proactive and highly organized, with a positive "can-do" attitude and a strong aptitude for quickly mastering new skills.
* Be skilled in following detailed instructions and adhering to established procedures with precision.
* Be team-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and perform well in high-pressure environments.
* Demonstrate maturity and responsibility, with the capability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
* Deliver work with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
* Exhibit professionalism, self-motivation, and excellent time management in all aspects of work.
* Be consistently punctual and reliable, maintaining strong timekeeping habits.
* Be passionate about Human Resources, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the field.
Desirable:
* CIPD Qualified
* Knowledge of employment law.
