Job Title HR Project Manager Job Description The HR Projects Manager is a project management role tasked to deliver our change and HR/People projects across our Pacific Life Re (PL Re) business. The role will be the HR Project Management expert, working closely with the Global Head of HR, PL Re. You will collaborate with HR Leads, Centres of Excellence and the wider project management team to deliver strategic projects that form part of the HR/People strategy. The role could cover anything within the people strategy piece from key diversity & inclusion projects and Rewards to driving performance and efficiencies. Key responsibilities Scoping the people project framework and plan in line with business objectives Maintain drive and focus on projects to ensure they are achieved in the appropriate timeframes and are successfully embedded into the organisation Monitor progress of projects highlighting risks and presenting resolutions to challenges Manage resource requirements for the projects ensuring right individuals with the right skillsets are appropriately aligned to meet deadlines Manage budgets for the projects monitoring expenditure and measuring ROI for the business case Define measurements of success with critical trackers to ensure consistent performance Ensure effective governance of the projects, reporting progress to stakeholders and senior leaders Adapt and adjust projects with additional activities and interventions to ensure successful delivery with benefits realisation Develop project plans and work closely with stakeholders, across the enterprise to align identified processes. stakeholders include Senior HR members, process owners, as well as IT, Finance and Legal as necessary Ownership of the comms and change management plan for projects. Communicate progress, results, challenges to senior management and other stakeholders. Support the PL Re CHRO as required to proactively own, and mitigate for People portfolio related risks Oversee the development of direct reports including stretch projects, career and personal development Qualifications & Experience Essential 5-10 years’ experience specialising in process transformation or experience with HR process alignment as part of a merger or acquisition project would be desirable Strong project management skills Knowledge of HR processes including compensation, talent management, HRIS Experience working in a fast past, dynamic and ambiguous environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise.
