We're seeking a dedicated Apprenticeship Mentor to join our dynamic team at IEG Group. You'll play a vital role in guiding and supporting our apprentices as they embark on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality personal development sessions aligned with the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework.
Liaise with recruitment officers and ALS mentors to ensure apprentices receive timely support.
Provide initial pastoral support, including career advice and guidance.
Collaborate with student services, ALS, and exam teams to develop retention strategies.
Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality, implementing interventions as needed.
Identify and address safeguarding concerns, referring them to the appropriate team.
Work towards improving attendance rates and reducing student withdrawals.
Contribute to apprenticeship recruitment activities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Level 2 qualification related to support of learners e.g. coaching/mentoring/learning support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of working with young people in a support or related role
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework
Passion for education and student development
Level 2 English and Maths
