An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to expand our advanced clinical practice service within Trauma by appointing a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This individual will join the team to help deliver advanced trauma care to our complex patient group.
The post holder will undertake a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice utilising their day to day experience to underpin their skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient individual with a keen interest and experience in caring for patient's with traumatic injuries.
The advanced clinical practice service delivers care seven days a week and therefore the individual appointed will need to work full time and be flexible in relation to working days.
Main duties of the job
1. Work in alignment with the four pillars of advanced practice on a day to day basis.
2. support the nursing teams caring for trauma patients throughout the John Radcliffe hospital.
3. Act as support for the rotating junior doctors within the trauma service and continuity for the Consultant groups.
