Job summary We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated NHS Healthcare Cleaners/Ward Hosts to fill a number of part time roles to support within the Facilities Management Team at Colchester Hospital. We have a mixture of Full Time & Part time posts available, including Weekend, Evenings and Day Shifts In addition to general cleaning of public areas and dealing with ad hoc tasks, e.g. clearing spills, the post holders may be required to carry out specialist cleaning duties, some of which are physically demanding. We are looking for conscientious individuals, who are able to use their initiative and manage their own workload. Basic numeracy and literacy skills will be required and having experience of working within a similar environment would be an advantage, but not necessarily essential, as full training will be given. ESNEFT is undergoing a transitional phase which may result in the outsourcing of Soft FM services to another provider from April 2025. Successful candidates will commence on ENSEFT terms and conditions before transferring employment to the new employer. Terms and conditions will largely remain unchanged upon employment transfer. Main duties of the job You will support Hotel Services to deliver a professional, efficient and cost effective service with regards to cleaning and the delivery of patient meals at Colchester Hospital.
