Job Description
Our client, a lovely firm based in Chancery Lane has a vacancy for an experienced legal secretary/PA. You will be assisting two Partners in the Corporate Department and be reporting into the Head of Department.
The candidate should have experience in Corporate and Banking & Finance. They should also possess the following skills/attributes:
1. Excellent secretarial skills with accurate typing.
2. Mid to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Billing experience.
4. Experience in a Corporate practice is essential.
5. Experience with document management systems and billing packages.
6. Excellent client service standards.
7. Ability to prioritise.
8. Ability to problem solve and use initiative.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare, type, amend and proofread documents from dictation, manuscript and copy typing including letters, reports, legal documents (agreements etc.), attendance notes, memos and emails.
2. Assist in effectively managing all incoming and outgoing communications.
3. Diary management for some partners and senior associates when needed.
4. Organisation of internal and external meetings including liaising with Reception to ensure rooms are booked and appropriate refreshments are ordered.
5. Deal effectively and politely with clients and others calling into the department.
6. Organising all aspects of annual trips to various conferences to include delegate passes, flights and accommodation and ensuring attendees have full details and tickets for the trip.
7. Dealing with administration of Anti-Money Laundering procedures for new matters and clients.
8. Production of bills and liaising with Accounts Department on finalising and sending out to clients.
9. Any other ad hoc duties reasonably required by the Corporate & Commercial Team.

Standard hours 9.00-5.30. This role is also working five days in the office. Generous salary offered £50,000 per annum.
