What you'll do
This key role will see you undertaking the assurance of reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance of the external stress testing regulatory reporting outcomes. You’ll ensure that regulatory outcomes are delivered in a controlled manner that complies with Finance and the bank’s risk and control framework, while identifying and implementing opportunities to improve.
You’ll plan and coordinate the collation and completion of information required to meet our external stress test reporting obligations, while making sure that stress testing reports are complete, valid and accurate, prior to submission to external government, financial and regulatory bodies.
You'll also be:
* Developing a proactive approach to customer engagement and stakeholder management, including both data suppliers and senior employees
* Delivering the assurance of external stress testing regulatory returns with a strong customer focus
* Delivering assurance outcomes to agreed timelines and plans across Planning & Performance
* Producing documentation to show our compliance with the controls framework and internal audit requirements
* Contributing to and implementing plans relating to change and process improvement
The skills you'll need
To join us in this role, you'll ideally be a qualified accountant, with post-qualification experience in financial services reporting. You’ll need experience in regulatory reporting and be able to demonstrate a range of technical skills. You’ll also demonstrate a proven ability to plan and prioritise your deliverables and timelines, working flexibly and adapting to changes.

* The ability to communicate at all levels of seniority about complex issues
* The ability to understand and identify key issues from both summary and detailed data
* Excellent knowledge of Excel, with the ability to help drive improvements in Excel based operational processes
* The ability to identify and resolve issues and break down complex problems into their core components and communicate the issues concisely
* A business focused approach in terms of MI requirements
