York CAMHS Community Mental Health Service are looking to recruit a Systemic Family Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding Psychological Professions group within the team. The applicant must hold a professional registration with an appropriate body.
We are seeking a Family Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary, dynamic and family-centred service to support our team in creating a systemic offer to our families of York.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will provide Systemic Family Therapy interventions based in our York service within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health provision. The candidate will influence the shaping of our service provision with the wider team and enable our widening therapeutic offer to our York families. You will be expected to offer assessment and intervention with our families and individuals and to provide leadership and supervision to our workforce through the lens of SFT.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* RMN or equivalent mental health core qualification AND
* Registration with a professional regulatory body (HCPC, GMC, NMC or Social Work England). (If a different regulatory body, please seek advice from Head of Psychological Professions) AND
* MSc Systemic Family Therapy
* Qualification that provides eligibility to apply for accreditation in one of the four Governed Psychological Therapies outlined in the table below*
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience
* Working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems
* Delivering SFT
* Delivering clinical supervision
* Delivering staff training
* Delivering psychological therapy in own field
* Experience of psychological therapy provision in complex cases
Skills
* Communicate complex and highly sensitive information effectively to a wide range of people
