The Senior Payroll Coordinator will report to the Payroll Senior Manager.
Profile:
* Salary between £30-£35k
* Full time (37 hours per week) based in the Coventry office.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualities:
1. At least five years’ payroll experience (a payroll qualification is preferred).
2. Extensive experience with high-volume payrolls and/or payroll bureau services (Bureau would be preferable).
3. Advanced knowledge of UK PAYE legislation, statutory deductions, and compliance requirements.
4. Comprehensive understanding of pensions and auto-enrolment processes.
5. Comprehensive understanding of Payrolling benefits.
6. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and develop junior team members.
7. Strong organisational skills to allocate work effectively, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
8. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
9. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
10. Confident and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, directors, and team members.
11. Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation, initiative, and reliability.
