This role will also have occasional travel to events across the UK when required Hours per week: 37 Salary: Up to £41,000 depending on experience About the role We’re excited to be looking for an Internal Communications Manager who is ready to hit the ground running and help shape the future of our internal communications programme, helping our employees to feel informed, engaged, and connected to NCFE’s purpose, vision and overall strategy. In this role, you’ll be part of the PR and Communications team, working closely with the People Services team, to deliver our internal communications strategy, implementing a high-quality and innovative internal communications approach, that engages and inspires NCFE colleagues, translating business requirements and projects into exciting content for our people. How you’ll make an impact: • Creating and delivering an internal communications strategy and engagement plan; recording and analysing all campaign and channel metrics to make continuous improvements. • Organising and delivering engaging and topical internal communications events. • Collaborating with colleagues to identify, develop, and publish news and run internal campaigns, ensuring all colleagues are engaged and informed regardless of their geographical location or contract type. • Sourcing, planning and writing a range of high-quality content for a variety of internal communications platforms including newsletters, news articles, videos, webinars, intranet and Viva Engage. • Line managing an Internal Communications and Events Executive, supporting them to deliver high performance in their role. We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following: • Demonstrable workplace experience in internal communications • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including writing, editing and proofreading skills) • Ability to manage and produce communications to tight deadlines. • Experience of planning and delivering multiple, concurrent projects and using a range of internal communications channels. • Experience of effective management of an intranet and publication of key messages. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to work with Communications, and People Services teams, as well as the confidence to deal with (and advise) senior exec.
