Bookkeeper Location: Leicester (Office Based) Job Type: Part-time Permanent Salary: Attractive salary (details to be discussed) We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join a friendly team, reporting directly to the business Director. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing both purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, and preparing accounts. Experience with SAGE is preferred. The position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours and is looking for candidates who are immediately available to start. Day-to-day of the role: Managing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. Overseeing Credit Control processes. Conducting Bank Reconciliations. Preparing and submitting VAT Returns. Assisting with Account Preparation and financial reporting. Small monthly Payroll Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar Bookkeeping role. Proficiency with SAGE software is preferred. Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Good availability to start immediately is highly desirable.
