To engage in comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment of the needs, strengths and goals of the individual and their social networks. To identify clear recovery focussed goals utilising Iroc, the HOPE toolkit and other appropriate measures to guide the teams interventions. To facilitate collaborative interventions with individuals and social networks in order to promote their empowerment, recovery and wellbeing. Comply with and carry out safe practice in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, appropriate Codes of Conduct, the Mental Health Act (1983) and other relevant national and local guidance commenting on policies, procedures and developments as necessary. To provide both formal and informal training, health promotion and advice to patients and carer/relatives regarding their mental health needs. To actively participate in the delivery of training opportunities for staff and students, including those from other teams and disciplines. To provide high quality practice placement education for nursing students acting as mentor as required. To contribute to the maintenance of a psychologically safe environment in which the voice, skills and experience of all are valued and nurtured. Whilst this post is focussed on assessment and formulation the post holder will be required, to engage in providing other aspects of direct care and intervention as required in order to ensure the provision of a safe and effective service.
