We are seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Business Management within the Department of Management, located within Glasgow School for Business and Society.
As a Lecturer in Strategic Management, you will focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching that is underpinned by scholarly activity. We welcome applications from individuals who will enhance our delivery and reputation in the Strategic Management and related subject areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules.
2. Supervise and enhance the student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
3. Support student learning, teaching, and assessment in higher education.
4. Ensure curricula are current and compliant with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A relevant doctoral qualification, ideally in the Strategic Management subject area, or in combination with a relevant Masters qualification.
2. Significant recent experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level within the UK education context.
3. Prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching, and assessment in higher education.
4. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
