Our Global Client is looking for Field Engineers with 2+ years of experience in a PC field service environment or PC field Workshop environment for multiple locations within the UK.
Location: You can work from any one of the following locations: Plymouth, Yeovilton, Lincoln, Bristol, London, Hereford, Brecon, Helston.
NOTE: Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.
Job Description:
* Queue ticket management of tickets assigned to their Hub (and surrounding spokes) ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels.
* Hub Stock management including asset management of kit in/out (Scan items in/out of locations).
* Effective Management of disposals that go through their Hub.
* Triage and perform hardware repairs of ‘in Warranty kit’ and liaise with vendors for parts and returns.
* Locker replenishments where appropriate.
* Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team Leader.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot effectively to minimise customer downtime.
* Ticket Management – protecting SLAs and management of open tickets.
* Consistent level of customer satisfaction measurable with Customer Satisfaction returns.
* To manage parts/stock allocated appropriately.
* Maximise warranty performance with correct vendor engagement and adherence to vendor processes.
* Ensure Hub/Locker stock within remit does not fall below minimum stock levels.
* To escalate any issues to the Team Leader either immediately or on daily calls dependent upon urgency.
Technical Skills:
* HP Accreditations for grade.
* Dell Accreditations for grade.
* Familiarisation with current Microsoft desktop operating systems.
* Hardware – Diagnose, troubleshoot, support & repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs).
Soft Skills:
* Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a newly created team environment.
* Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free / with minimal non-functional defects.
* Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environments.
* Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
* Capability to organise and prioritise tasks.
* Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members.
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
