As Quality Inspector, you will befocused on ensuring that we maintain great quality to our customers which will include liaising and monitoring customer complaints to ensure that all actions are customer focused. Quality Inspectors are responsible for the quality of fresh product to specification.
This role is a full time, permanent position working the night shift (40 hours per week) on site in our Corby depot. The shift pattern in Monday – Friday working 14.30pm – 22.30

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Document the quality of product delivered and during storage
Reject product that fails to meet specifications and standards
Work as part of the Quality team in ensuring high standards are met with a view to continual improvement
Check rejected produce are isolated for return. Ensure control sheets are completed to reflect the correct information required i.e. temperatures, glass, brittle plastic and knife and scissor control
Ensure that systems and procedures are adhered to
Respond to daily delivery issues regarding quality.
Cover other Quality areas where necessary
Responding to customer complaints and ensuring the monitoring of the suppliers and product causing complaints
To work in a team-based environment where all managers/employees work together for the good of the business
Through the department provide ongoing intelligence/data/information that can be used by other departments in order to make more informed decisions
Ensure that all applicable legislation (H&S, Hygiene, BRC, etc) for a modern food business are in place and adhered to by all and that any violations are reported to your business.
Specific projects or activities as directed by your line manager.
About you:
The successful candidate will preferably have worked back shifts in a food manufacturing environment and have knowledge of warehouse practices, QA/QC and have H&S certification, or willing to work to obtain this. This role would suit someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a flexible working approach to enable them to be customer focused and solutions driven.
