Working hours: On site 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 07.30 - to 16.00hrs
Contract post: initial 6 month contract - renewable likely running to end of 2027
Salary / hourly rate: £19.16 PAYE - £24.38 Umbrella = Up to £40,000 PA salary equivalent
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
You are in charge of the team of Material scheduling officers, taking care of the definition and control of adequate inventory level of materials in order to fulfil Production / Operations / Installation requirements while minimizing cash immobilization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Material scheduling / Calculate ABC Classification
2. Material scheduling / Manage Stock Policy and Size Inventory Levels
3. Material scheduling / Define & Control Buy Material Master Data
4. Material scheduling / Define & Control Make Material Master Data
5. Material scheduling / Monitor MRP Run
6. Material scheduling / Manage Material Net Demand
7. Material scheduling / Calculate and Update Forecasts
8. Material scheduling / Manage Material Availability (missing parts)
9. Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product initialization and Change
10. Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product closure
11. Material scheduling / Manage Excess Stock
12. Function Internal Standards / Identify Needs & Define Requirements for Internal Standards, Define, Improve & Validate Internal Standards, Manage Internal Standards Deployment
13. Function External Standards / Identify Needs & Define Requirements, Contribute to External Standards Definition, Improvement & Validation, Manage Impact of External Standards on Processes & Tools, Manage External Standards & Regulations Deployment
