Purpose and Objectives:
The Internal Communications Manager role is new for the organisation. The successful candidate will develop, implement and evaluate internal communications strategies which enhance internal engagement with employees, trustees and international partners; connect these audiences with NOCN Group’s vision, mission and objectives; and share updates and success stories about people, projects and partnerships.
* Development and implementation of the internal communications strategy
* Content creation, channel management, and scheduling
* Internal engagement
* Leadership management and collaboration
* Change and crisis management support
* Measurement and reporting
Key requirements:
The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:
* Educated to degree level in related subject area
* Significant experience in an internal communications, corporate communications, or related role
* Experience of managing multi-channel internal communications such as intranets (ideally SharePoint), e bulletins, events etc
* Experience of managing communications for organisational change
* Experience managing, maintaining, and developing intranet content using a CMS
* Excellent writing and editing skills
* Strategic thinking
* Project management
* Digital savvy
The following criteria is desirable:
* Membership of CIM, CAM, or IIC
* Knowledge of UK FE market and/or skills sector including vocational qualifications, EPA, and competency cards
* Experience working in a regulated environment
