Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partners with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad, and Qatar.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement and Engineering Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the management and facilitation of continuous improvement projects and initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will work across functional departments to improve production and support processes in line with business needs and growth.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities include:
1. Active involvement in project identification, prioritisation, progress monitoring, tracking of results and reporting findings across the organisation using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
2. Ensure all completed continuous improvement projects are embedded and sustained.
3. Actively engage with peers internally and across the group to ensure best practice implementation.
4. Use agreed metrics to validate the requirement for projects and recommendation of resource allocation.
5. Support the Continuous Improvement and Engineering Manager to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.
6. Support operational performance enhancement through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams working collaboratively to drive improvement programmes.
8. Project implementation and management.

Job Requirements
1. Systematic problem solver with the ability to implement solutions, undertake root cause analysis and instigate/manage change.
2. Demonstrate competence of project delivery through application of continuous improvement practices.
3. Green belt qualified (not essential but desirable) aspiring to black belt or proven experience of project implementation.
4. Ability to manage and organise multiple projects at any one time.
5. Excellent communication skills to present effective and persuasive arguments/presentations on complex topics.
6. Good level of technical knowledge regarding continuous improvement methodologies.
7. Positive and proactive approach to challenges and change management.
8. A passion for continuous improvement with strong influencing skills.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Perseverance.
