Destination Education is a leading Education recruitment agency specialising in placing high-quality professionals into schools and educational settings. We are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping schools build a tailored, inclusive environment for all students. After growing since the start of the new academic year, we are now looking to expand our team by hiring an experienced SEN Recruitment Consultant to help us further grow in this vital sector.
As an SEN Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and placing qualified and passionate professionals into SEN schools, special provisions, and mainstream settings with SEN needs. You will build strong relationships with both candidates and clients, understanding the unique requirements of SEN provision, and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to placing them in schools.
2. Build and maintain relationships with SEN schools, Headteachers, and educational professionals.
3. Advise and consult with clients to understand their recruitment needs for SEN staff.
4. Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure the right fit for each role.
5. Provide ongoing support to both candidates and clients post-placement.
6. Keep up to date with industry trends and local education developments.
7. Meet and exceed monthly recruitment targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally with a focus on SEN, Education, or Social Care recruitment.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
3. Results-driven with the ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
4. A proactive and self-motivated approach with a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
5. An understanding of safeguarding practices and compliance standards within the education sector.
6. A good team player with a collaborative approach.
