Your new role
As H&S Advisor you will successfully develop a diverse and impressive portfolio of work. As they expand, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join in this critical role. This position offers the chance to make a real impact on the safety culture of our organisation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting best practices across all areas of all operations. Reporting to the SHEQ/Systems Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all team members. You will work closely with various departments to assess risks, conduct safety audits, and drive initiatives that enhance workplace safety across the organisation. This role will cover all of the sites across our group in NI and therefore some travel between sites will be required.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have 5 years’ experience working in health and safety within engineering, manufacturing or construction with a strong background in health and safety. Hands on experience working on manufacturing and construction sites, supporting the implementation and management of Health & Safety protocol. Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation relevant to construction and engineering industries. NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or equivalent. Full driving license. Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience of working on own initiative and acting to resolve any issues impacting upon performance
