Our client is a global manufacturer of Petrochemical, Speciality Chemicals and Oil products. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Maintenance Assurance Manager to their team based in Grangemouth. You will be responsible for leading the Central Maintenance Management team which defines, implements, and governs all Work Management processes.
The team will be responsible for ensuring WM processes align with contracts, planning processes, supporting Computerised Maintenance Management System content, and strategy to achieve robust performance by reducing asset risk, improving field work activity efficiency, and contractor commercial performance.
Responsibilities
1. Provide a central view of short, medium and longer-term activity to support efficient and effective planning, enabled through effective performance reporting and business decisions.
2. Overall accountability for the integrity of the CMMS functionality including control of any proposed modifications to the system.
3. Control robust Management of Change to CMMS content ensuring ongoing alignment to signed off maintenance strategies.
4. Drive integration of all work and activity plans including maintenance, integrity, production planning, TAR, SUM, and capital projects – integrating short with medium to longer-term planning visibility and activity management.
5. Ownership of the centralised strategy and requirements for Work Management performance including the following areas: Standardised processes, Maintenance KPI & Dashboard sets; Maintenance Reports; System work-flow alignment.
6. Supports Control of Work process, setting and improving readiness, compliance and minimising waste permit preparatory effort for the operations teams.
7. Chair and co-ordinate activity sets through the establishment of planning, look-ahead and Work Management forums.
8. Establish and maintain performance overview of key contracts that are used during execution of maintenance activities.
9. Ensure that key contractor and business partner contracts have sufficient definition and understanding of Work Management process and systems.
10. Support tenders/ contract negotiation and setup, improvement programmes, supplier performance management and adoption of latest technology and reporting.
Experience & Qualifications
1. Candidates will hold a Degree qualification in relevant Engineering Discipline.
2. 10+ years of experience within Petrochemicals, Downstream refining or Upstream sectors.
3. Significant exposure to maintenance, planning, scheduling, contract management, and systems e.g. scheduling tools (P6) and CMMS.
4. Knowledge of TAR, Sum, Integrity, Maintenance, Production and Cost management / financial planning processes.
5. Highly experienced in Work Management, planning and maintenance processes with robust understanding of industry best practice for Work Management, reliability management processes and contractor performance management.
6. Requires good project and change management skills.
