We are looking for a 3rd Line Shared Service Support Network Engineer (SD-WAN) to work collaboratively across our accounts. Your role will involve direct technical support for services in the SD-WAN team and assist in day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include network monitoring, detailed investigation and diagnostics, creating workarounds and solutions, escalating issues, and ensuring all work performed complies with quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a 3rd NOC support group, be a Networking SME, and have knowledge of MS Service Center Support tool, SD-WAN, Cisco Viptela, and Juniper Routers.
Responsibilities:
* Network monitoring & event management via Orchestrator tools
* Detailed investigation and diagnostics
* Create workarounds, solutions, and mitigations for identified issues.
* Escalate issues requiring more detailed analysis and investigation
* Receive and analyze customer fault reports and technical enquiries
* Perform remote diagnostic tests to aid primary fault rectification
* Ensure all work performed complies with quality requirements
* Configure equipment for customer installation
* Implement approved configuration changes
* Assist in collation of performance and availability data
* Test and development in the Pre-Production environment and rollout to the Production environment
Requirements:
* Experience working in a 3rd NOC support group
* Networking SME
* Knowledge of MS Service Center Support tool, SD-WAN, Cisco Viptela, and Juniper Routers
* Thorough knowledge of network technologies relating to Cisco/Juniper product set
* Experience in a support role in a WAN environment, with knowledge of IP, Routing, SD-WAN solutions, encryption, edge virtualization
