An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for fitness to join our Health and Wellbeing team. We are seeking a passionate, energetic and inspiring individual to join the team and provide motivational support, advice and guidance to our staff. The applicant must hold Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification, Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and be registered with CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sports and Physical Activity) at time of application.
You will lead the development and delivery of the physical competency assessments programme for the Trust working closely with respective teams ensuring compliance to local and national policy and standards. Using your extensive experience in the field you will also provide training advice and support with a focus on lifestyle behavior change. You will be an innovative thinker with a flexible and pragmatic approach to work, be a people person who believes in, champions, and supports improvements in physical wellbeing.
You will be required to work across the whole Yorkshire region supporting all staff.
The post holder will be an excellent Communicator, Empathetic, Compassionate, non-Judgmental and be willing to support the health and fitness needs of our diverse staff. This can range from supporting rehabilitation, undertaking assessments, inductions and designing personalised programmes to help our staff achieve their goals.
You will be people focused with a passion for health and fitness. Working within a multidisciplinary team including occupational health service providers you will use evidence base to develop new preventative approaches to raise awareness of and inform positive lifestyle and wellbeing improvements. You will use a variety of communication platforms and approaches to deliver health and fitness related interventions.
