Hays are pleased to be supporting one of our key clients within the local Dundee area, who are market leaders within the manufacturing industry. This organisation is recognised both on a local and international scale, demonstrating expertise within their field of work. Due to the requirement for additional support in completing their transactional finance processes, the immediate requirement for an Accounts Assistant has become available.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be a proactive part of the small finance team to support in the management of daily purchase and sales ledger invoice processing. This will include raising purchase order numbers where appropriate, matching them to the correct invoices, and processing for payment. Additional support for accounts reconciliations, managing payments, and chasing suppliers for payment may also be required in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will demonstrate a core understanding of debits and credits with recent experience supporting a small finance team in daily invoice processing. You will be a confident user of Microsoft Excel, dealing with high volumes of data and approaching processes with an eye for detail. This role will interest someone who is looking to secure an ongoing temporary contract within the local Dundee area.
