The Role: We are offering a full-time opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis. You will provide tailored support to help them excel in their learning environment while also assisting with general classroom activities to ensure the day runs smoothly. Your Responsibilities:
* Providing personalised support to a student with SEN, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
* Supporting the wider classroom environment to ensure all pupils feel valued and included.
* Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other targeted strategies.
* Creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere that encourages pupil confidence and growth.
About You:
* Experience working with children with SEN is an advantage but not required.
* A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting children’s needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
