Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work alongside our classroom teachers in supporting the delivery of the curriculum and the individual needs of students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed both academically and socially. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact within a close-knit and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
* Support children with additional needs, providing tailored assistance where required.
* Help prepare and organise classroom resources.
* Observe and monitor student progress, providing feedback as needed.
* Assist with the care and wellbeing of students, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Person Specification:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting (desirable).
* A caring and patient nature with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a classroom setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
