This is a Full Time role - Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work (pre-agreed) and some early mornings.
This role will require the individual to work closely alongside the Company Directors and the florists. The key responsibility will be keeping the studio running smoothly at all times and maintaining relationships with all freelancers, contractors, and suppliers.
Other main tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Working closely with the Senior Florist to ensure the smooth running of the studio;
2. Organising transportation of goods (flowers, sundries, props, etc);
3. Management and scheduling of contractors;
4. Ensuring that the studio is organised and is looking its best at all times with support from the rest of the team;
5. Managing the staff rota and events schedules;
6. Project and event management where required;
7. Ensuring all clients and customers feel valued and well taken care of.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have experience of working as a studio manager;
2. Be positive, enthusiastic, diligent, and proactive;
3. Create a positive working environment for all freelancers, employees, and customers;
4. Be hard-working with a professional approach/attitude;
5. Be comfortable working on their own initiative as well as working within a team;
6. Be confident with Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, and Microsoft Word/Excel/PPT, etc;
7. Be confident in a client-facing role;
8. Have a full clean driver's licence.
