Our client are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team near Wroxham.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Diagnosing and resolving faults in machinery, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
* Supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
* Responding promptly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
* Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within manufacturing, production, or a related environment.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
* Competency in diagnosing faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems is desirable.
* Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
* A good understanding of health and safety practices.
Working hours:
Alternate Shift Rota
* Week 1: Monday to Friday
* Week 2: Tuesday - Saturday
* Hours vary from 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm
